Not recommended: I would not recommend touching blood at a gas station, no matter when you contact it.  Any areas of broken skin would be especially vulnerable.

Enlarged pore: What you are describing sounds like an enlarged pore.   Pores are a normal part of the skin, but if they become blocked or partially blocked, they can become enlarged.  If it is not red, tender, or swollen, leave it alone, just be sure to wash your face well daily.  If it becomes tender, you may try applying warm compresses.

But any pain which is lasting more than 5-10 minutess and or it is progressively getting worse, requires a check up from a doctor. Without a physical examination, it is hard to tell you what it is. Most likely it is nothing serious. So try ignoring it for a week or two
