After : After 2 weeks, you may want to look into other reasons for your laryngitis.

There are number functional and anatomical problems that can cause prolonged laryngitis such as: 
- irritation from environmental allergies
- otherwise silent reflux related changes, 
- vocal fold hemorrhage (broken blood vessels), 
- muscle tension dysphonia, 
- benign or malignant growths (especially if you are a smoker)

these can be diagnosed via a laryngoscopic exam performed by an otolaryngologist otherwise known as an ear nose and throat doctor. If your laryngitis persists, you may want to have your doctor recommend a specialist who has the tools to complete a more thorough exam.

Be checked: It is common to develop other infections while on antibiotics as they change our normal flora. Be assessed and if it is a yeast infection it can be easily treated. All the best. Probiotics are often helpful to prevent this.

Masks: Do you get sinus infections often even without wearing a mask? Do you get sinus infections often after a head cold? Do you have chronic nasal congestion? Perhaps you have a tendency to chronic nasal membrane congestion and wearing a mask prevents you from performing sinus drainage  leading to mucus collections in sinuses.

? congestion: Of your nasal cavity and your sinuses can give you the same symptoms, chronic congestion can lead to chronic inflammation and later infection, not sure what kind of MRI you had? Was it direced towards your sinuses or part of head examination which at times shows part of the sinuses not the whole system, get seen by your doctor who would refer you to an ENT, goodluck

Maybe: If an upper tooth is infected, the infection can spread to the sinus cavity. This can cause increased production of 'infected mucus' that will find its way down the back of your throat where you will likely cough/spit it up.

As a rough rule: of thumb, if you have had a throaty cough or runny nose which started clear for more than 3-4 days, and the color of the mucus changes to yellow or green and consistency to thick, then there has been a change in the condition.   Most of the time, it means there is possibly some bacterial suprainfection occurring in those areas.   It is likely best to be seen by a healthcare provider for exam / Dx.
