It depends: Ovulation is caused by variations in your hormone levels, specifically of estrogen and progesterone.  The rise of certain hormones can alter the skin in terms of how much oil is secreted, etc.  It is possible that you could get an increase in acne during certain parts of your cycle.

A few things: A tetracycline antibiotic like minocin, a cream application product such as tazorac, (tazarotene) an exfoliation product, avoid fried foods, cleanse an acne soap to dry oily skin.

Hormone-Induced Acne: Acne is most often idiopathic (meaning we really don't know the cause).  But in women, it can be a sign of hormonal abnormalities, especially when associated with irregular periods, weight gain/obesity, excess facial or body hair, or thinning of the scalp hair.  The most common form of hormone-induced acne is polycystic ovarian syndrome.  See your dermatologist, but also your gynecologist.

Not the D&C: For sure. Acne is sometimes a sign of increased androgen, but it's definitely nto related to d&c. If you are having regular periods then 99% you are ovulating normally; if not see you doctor to learn more.

Ovulation: You are very likely to continue ovulating but it would be a good idea to see a Gynecologist to make sure all is OK.

my ovulation was on 22nov and now its 27nov 5dpo.i had acne in my forehead.what is the sign?is it pregnancy?

Not specific enough: Unfortunately, acne is not specific enough a sign.  Some patients experience uterine cramping and mild bleeding one week after ovulation and may respresent implantation.  Good luck!

i had a bad acne flare up, been taking doxy for a week and will continue for the rest of this week. i ovulate next week can we still try to conceive?

Not advisabel: It is never advisable to conceive when you are on any medication for a short term. Its safest to wait until you are off the medication at your next cycle.

Intermestrual bleed: If you have irregular periods and acne, that could be related to hormonal imbalance such as polycystic ovaries

if i am having mid cycle acne on yaz, only on right side of chin does that mean i'm ovulating and is there a chance the yaz can't stop all eruptions?

Not ovulating: If you are on Yaz birth control and taking it correctly then you are not ovulating. Yaz can offer some improvement in acne but it should not be considered a primary treatment for acne. If you main concern is acne improvement then consider seeing a dermatologist for acne medication. There are many effective options that can work with birth control pills to improve your complexion

Anxiety: It would likely help if you could identify the sequence of events, experiences that lead to an anxious day. It never occurs by chance, keep a journal, talk with close friends and try to uncover the root cause.
