Perhaps: It has been long known that pts with neurological problems may become more like invalids if too much inactivity in response to the problem.  Myelomalacia is indicative of  prior spinal cord damage, and so degree of activity would not truly influence unless the problem causing it is due to mechanical compression.  Check with your doctor to make sure all needed treatment has be finished.

Immediate: One starts losing muscle mass immediately after inactivity commences.

No: No heart failure is caused either by a  heart that does not pump blood normally or a stiff  
heart exercise  can play a role in strengthing a heart 
but lack of exersize will not cause heart failure.

Yes: Having the feet and legs down will create swelling with out muscle activity to help pump out the fluid.

Try to stretch your : Legs out as much as possible and take an  aspirin before flying. It is a risk and fords happen, walking around every couple of hours helps as well as stretching.

Tough problem : This is a difficult problem to treat. Conservatively you can try heel lift, anti- inflammatories , ice and physical therapy.  Immobilizaion for a period of time in a boot could also be tried. If all that fails you can consider a surgical option.

Osteoporosis: You may have pain from osteoporosis but don't make that assumption. There are treatments that can improve your T score and reverse bone loss. You should discuss treatment options with your doctor, especially at such a young age.

Yes: Yes it can. Although multiple factors go into a clot formation. Just keep it moving! Just walk around every 20-40 minutes.

De conditioning : If you are not involved in any type of physical activity your heart becomes de conditioned and your heart rate goes up with minimal exertion. You should join a exercise program.  You should also see a cardiologist regarding your PACs.
