Passing an alcohol: Test is the very least of your problems. Alcohol is metabolized in the liver, and sweating and urinating remove only a very tiny amount. We metabolize about 1 drink per hour, so a fifth would take a day or more to completely be metabolized, more or less. However, your drinking is clearly beyond social and you are almost certainly alcoholic. You need help before you do permanent damage to body/mind.

Alcoholism: Needs to be addressed or the person will destroy his/her body, mind, family, and spirit.  If you are the loved one of an alcoholic, please consider going to AlAnon meetings.   They will help you keep yourself together no matter what your loved one is doing.  It's also a good example.  Peace and good health.

Gatorade is full of: sugar and artificial colors.  You are better off using club soda.  Even better is to see the doc and have your magnesium level check.  Leg cramps are often associated w/low magnesium.  Peace and good health.

Steroids and sleep: Corticosteroid drugs like prednisone commonly cause sleep disturbance, especially with high doses. Electrolye and fluid intake (Gatorade or any other drink) has no effect on this, assuming you otherwise have a balanced diet. Good plan to ask your doctor, but don't worry about Gatorade.

Vodka: You are probably alright with only one episode of drinking, but make sure you refrain from alcolhol from now on.

Rule of thumb: % half-lives of many substances will clear you. This has a 6 hr half-life (time till 1/2 is gone) so 30 hrs should do it. Please don't take any pills w/o a valid medical reason - preferably w/ a Dr's Rx! Then you won't have this worry.
