Not going to meet...: Fallopian tube removal (salpingectomy) will definitely prevent any sperm to meet an ovulated egg, which timely disintegrates inside pelvic cavity and reabsorbed into the body, just like the fate for sperms after vasectomy.

Menstrual lining: When you have a period you are shedding your menstrual lining - the endometrium -- not the egg. The egg is only 1 microscopic cell. The material and blood that is expelled during the menstrual cycle all comes from the lining of the uterus.

: Maybe/not. You assume that sperm traveled into the tubes all the way passed the length of the uterus and are waiting. You assume that the trauma of the removal does not irritate the uterus so it would remain favorable for a pregnancy. This may be possible if the IUD has no hormones, but not if it does. The cited average wait to a desired pregnancy is 6 months (weeks-a year range).

Unfortunately : Unfortunately we can't beat biology at age 58 - by the time of menopause, at average age 51, there are only a few thousand eggs or less eggs left, and you would not have any viable (healthy) eggs at age 58.

Even at the time of your hysterectomy, around age 47, it would be extremely difficult to use your eggs to achieve a pregnancy with current technology. Sorry we can't be of help.

It begins dividing from 1 into 2 then 4, then 8 cells, etc.  After it arrives in the uterus, the cell cluster (called the morula) implants in the uterine wall.    Its a pretty amazing journey! Egg travels: What a great question? The ovary is located near the fallopian tube. The fallopian tube at the end has fimbria that looks like multiple fingers that catches the egg following ovulation.  When there is  a salpingectomy, no tube and no fimbria so presumably the egg falls inside the cavity of your belly. Salpingectomy is a surgical procedure for permanent contraception and prevention of cancer.
