Kidney stones?: Bleeding from the vaginal area could be coming from the urethra and thus mixed with urine. In that case the most common cause of kidney pain and hematuria is stones. If the bleeding is not mixed with urine you have a gynecological problem and need to consider many possibilities requiring a gyn exam. Pain in that case would not be from the kidney.

Possibilities: It could be a sore or infection or some other lesion.  You will need to have a healthcare provider take a look at it.

Do nothing: If you have something wrong in that area, it will hurt or bleed or itch or smell, etc. The 'skin' you see is what is called the hymenal ring. It usually looks like torn tissue, especially if you have had sex.  It is normal. Google it:-)

Yeast infection?: The most common cause of vaginal itching is a yeast infection.  But there are other causes.  The only way to know for sure is to see your doc and have an exam and some tests.  If you want to try an over-the-counter yeast medication first, you can.  They are available at the pharmacy.  Best wishes!

Dry skin?: Tough to say based on your description. However, it is an opportunity to go to your doctor to get an exam and the US Preventative Services Taskforce recommends screening asymptomatic women under 25 for certain STDs. The area between your vagina and your anus is called the perineal body. You may have dry skin,fungal infection, or folliculitis in your perineum. Good luck.

Go to your Gyn: You need to be evaluated by a gyn. If you do not have one, contact your county health department to ask for resources. This should be evaluated.

Allergy more likely: Whatever is causing the itching (probably an infection) made your tissue more sensitive to some ingredient in the itch cream.  Try warm sitz baths with something soothing like Aveeno oatmeal.  If no better, you need to have the infection diagnosed and treated specifically.  Good luck!
