First get treated...: Treatment for entamoeba histolytica is your first step, ; depends on the degree of infection (e.g. Liver involvement, extraintestinal manifestations) as well as the efficacy of clearing intestinal cysts. If symptomatic, much of your distress may resolve with eradication of eh. Persistent diarrhea or ibs-like problems can then next be dealt with.

Maybe not IBS: Enteritis (viral, bacterial), inflammation, gut dysmotility, malabsorption/maldigestion, etc. may results in all the symptoms you described without evoking IBS.  Time for evaluation.

i am on day 13 of low fodmap diet. my symptoms have changed from loose stools to constipation and bloating on low fodmap diet. why am i having bloating and incomplete evacuation? i am strictly following low formap diet for my ibs?

i have constipation and stomach aches. i am on a strict all meat diet, and mostly my fats come from olive oil. couldthis be a problem? i probably have undiagnosed ibs, just based off symptom's i read , usually have constipation and diahrrea.

Stomach aches : IBS is diagnosed when other conditions are ruled out. There are many reasons for abdominal pain, diarrhea, and constipation. The combination of diarrhea and constipation certainly raises the possibility that someone has IBS.

i'm always bloated and constipated. the constipation does not hurt but i just cannot pass a stool. i take fiber supplements i took probiotics  cause the doctor was saying i have ibs i changed my diet but still. i cannot pass a stoll?

No other disease?: Each person with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of the food and poop through the gut, then the things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber plus water, Miralax or Movicol (polyethylene glycol), Senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, etc... Doctor can evaluate and may prescribe something helpful.

i have ibs with constipation. i've tried miralax (polyethylene glycol) but it didn't help. i occasionally take stimulant laxatives as a last resort. what can i do relieve the symptoms? i eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water.

Try Amitiza (lubiprostone): You can try to increase the dose of MiraLAX and take it on a regular basis, rather than when needed.  This medication is frequently used as the purgative for colonoscopy, so if you take enough of it, it will clean you out.  If you are still not satisfied with it, ask your doctor for a prescription for amitiza (lubiprostone).  New prokinetic drugs will soon be available as alternative options.

my bowel movements are only ev 3-4 days extremely hard/constipated now have hemmroids :( i do see gi he says ibs-c diet is healthy what else can i do?

Miralax (polyethylene glycol): You are having bowel movements one every three days that are hard.  Your colons main function is to absorb water and that dries the stool.  The fact that you are having hard stool means you need more fiber.  You could trt MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) everyday.  Make sure your diet is mostly vegetables and fruit which is the very best way.  A soft stool daily is most likely.
