Cortisone side effec: These symptoms are not unexpected after getting large doses of cortisone. You might even suffer from insomnia as well.  The effect is dose-dependent but should reduce with time. If you have  pain, redness, or increased swelling on the injected knee or a fever , you need to contact the doctor immediately to make sure that it is not infected.

The sensations of redness and warmth to the touch suggest dilation of blood vessels...it almost sounds like a type of "hot flash."  How old are you? Sometimes menopausal hot flashes are perceived in a localized part of the body vs generalized over the entire body. Review with your doctor to decide on tests

It could be Flushing: If you have this symptom for more than a few weeks(like for a few months) then you should go see a physician as you will need a physical examination and tests to find the cause of these flushes and skin redness. The dizziess goes along with an inner and middle ear infection, the red warm  ear with an external ear infection. Do you swim? Ottitis externa is more common with swimming.

If you can't determine the cause,I recommend consulting an endocrinologist who will order appropriate tests.
