why do i get random bruises ?

Bruising: Bruises are more common with age or deficiencies of vitamins b12, c, or k, or folic acid.
Rare diseases that could have symptomatic bruising include lupus, cirrhosis, vasculitis.
Some types of cancer, such as hodgkin's disease, leukemia, or multiple myeloma.  If you are concerned about symptoms, please contact your physician.

Although: Nausea ; even lightheadness/ dizziness may be explained by panic ; anxiety - i don't know how bruising of legs would fit in.

These are not a: normal finding and could be due to underlying conditions that might be serious. Clotting or platelet disorders, liver or kidney disease could present this way. Make an appointment for evaluation by your health care provider as soon as possible.

Bruises: There are various reasons that can cause spontaneous bruises. Although trauma is frequently a reason for it but certain medications, infections, diseases of blood that can cause low platelet counts can also lead to appearance of bruises or even frank bleeding. Discuss it in detail with a physician.

Coagulopathy: Studies show that women who present with multiple areas of petechiae, purpura, or ecchymosis with no history of trauma sometimes have a coagulation disorder. At your age, TTP or ITP may be a possibility.  You need a full CBC, CMP, PT/PTT/INR, Protein C, S, Factor 5, Full history and medications really needed. I recommend you go to Georgetown University and speak with a Hematologist ASAP. Good luck

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor, if the symptoms persist. The likely causes include unrecognized trauma, side effect of some medication you may on, platelet function disorder or other coagulation abnormality, steroid excess, insect bites and so on.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
