Weight loss requires dietary changes and moderate exercise - with a larger focus on making dietary changes. Those who look to pills even to "help" with weight loss usually are not truly ready for making the changes necessary for long term weight loss success.

Yes: Fda approved diet pills are only prescribed under your doctor's care and for short times only. Tenuate and Phentermine are the safest, but have certain contraindications. So, whatever is in the over-the-counter version is not likely its true namesake, or potentially in a very reduced strength--either of these may not give you the results you are hoping for, and toxicity risk. Phentermine can show in urine drug screen for 10-14 days per internet resources.

Not good idea: Diet pills such as these can make you feel more anxious and agitated, and in some cases could lower your seizure threshhold.  Not advisable in any case.  And if the Lamictal is for a mood disorder, diet pills could also lead to insomnia and further destabilization.  Please talk with your own physician before using any over the counter medicine or supplement.

Maybe: Phentermine is a stimulant and can therefore have an adverse effect on your metabolic balance. Phentermine stimulates your sympathetic nervous system (sns). Too much sns stimulation can cause catabolic breakdown of tissue in your body and could lead to hair loss. Also sns affects thyroid and could create hyperthyroid state which can also cause hair loss.

Yes but: There is no reported interaction between Fastin (phentermine) and Aleve,but in some people sensitive to the stimulant effect of Fastin (phentermine) there can be an increase in blood pressure and renal effects. NSAIDS in some people can do this, and over a period of time chronic taking of either can have adverse cardiac effects.
