No: No, please do not put hydrogen peroxide in your ears. If they feel clogged, but no other symptoms like pain in ears, or fevers, then try an oral antihistamine or decongestant to see if that helps. If not, see your primary care physician or ENT doctor.

Yes...diluted 50-50: Yes, is the simple answer, If it is diluted 50-50 with water. But better if the PCP's office with ability to look into the ears can do the flushing.

Be careful!: I would recommend it;  just a few drops is all you need...Then let sit for a few minutes.  Never stick q-tips in your ears!  if the problem doesn't 'sound' any better then have your doctor examine you; you may need a cerumen flush.

Not pure H2O2: debrox is a commercially produced and FDA approved LOW CONCENTRATION of hydrogen peroxide with oil to specifically do that.

No: Full strength peroxide is a little strong but even the otc wax drops have peroxide in them.

Ear wax: Products like Murine, Auro &amp; Debrox contain Carbamide Peroxide. They are made to clean ears.  Low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide are sometimes used to loosen wax before it's removal. I personally wouldn't recommend that  you start pouring chemicals into your ears. The higher the concentration the more chance there is for tissue damage. If you are having ear problems consider seeing an ENT Dr.

Hydrogen Peroxide: I use hydrogen peroxide only rarely and recommend to my patients to avoid it altogether. Simple lacerations (bleeding stops with pressure after a few minutes) need only clean water and soap as first aid. Of course a head injury must be checked out by a clinician if possible, but as far as hydrogen peroxide, it is toxic to cells and induces cell death. Its best to avoid it.

No, ? allergy: Hydrogen peroxide is likely to increase the damage.  You may have contact sensitivity to nickel in the jewelry.  If you must wear offending earrings, coat the metal with clear nail polish.

Yes: Hydrogen peroxide is a safe and inexpensive method of dissolving impacted ear wax.  But it may be irritating if you do not have wax.  So make sure frown from an ENT doctor that wax is the correct diagnosis.
