Use of stem cells: Cloning humans is not ready.  Use of adult stem cells to grow new tissues is in the relatively near future.  This uses adult stem cells in tissue culture, provide a media that favors differentiation towards a certain tissue (like cartilage, bone, fat, etc.).  These will likely become an option over the next decade, and they may also be used to help reduce immune reactions to solid organ transplant.

Not bad, not ready: Cloning is a very complex issue and technology that is not yet ready to become a practical matter.  Side effects and long term alterations in genetic codes may limit the reality of cloning in humans for decades.

Not at this point: It is too early to determine the success or ultimate risks of cloning.  The laboratory capability is not the same as being able to successfully clone humans.  In addition, there is a definite moral issue when doing such genetic modifications and manipulations.

Unknown: Cloning alters many of the genetic coding within cell nuclei, and the many ramifications remain a total mystery.  Premature or accelerated aging, neurological damage, etc. Are being studies in animal models.  Many years of research ahead before validity or value to be determined.

Test tube only: Yes, this is being done strictly in the research setting, and is only in the test-tube stages now.  It will probably be at least 10 years before this is ready for human application.
