Your body can sometimes get rid of the virus but that's less likely as you get older.stay away from smoking and continue following up with your pap smears.

: The subtypes of HPV have different potential effects on normal tissue covering the cervix.  The problems with several "high risk types" are transformation to abnormal cells and eventual cancer. Both types can eventually become suppressed by your body's immune system, but if a high risk type is found on a pap smear, immediate treatment is recommended, avoiding cancer risk.

No: Hpv is a virus, and once you are infected with it, you have it.  There is no cure. It may come and go in terms of flare-ups with warts, but the virus will be present in your body if you are infected.  If you have a bothersome wart, i would recommend that you see a doctor, because most will require removal.

HPV: This is not necessarily being transferred back and forth, but rather not curable in the sense that it will always stay with you.  Only some strains predispose to malignancy and regular checks with pelvic exams is a good idea. You might consider getting the hpv vaccine.
