Depend: it really depend if it is a primary liver cancer or a metastatic they both could be treated but the metastatic one we have to find the primary and control it in order to have a good result

Small areas: If these are small yellow spots on the corner of the white part of the eye  they are called pinguecula, to prevent worsening use sunglasses. Treatment rarely requires surgical removal but can be done. First start with either artificial tear drops and if inflamed use short term mild steroids.

after 6 cycle of xeloda/temodar, my husbands net colon had mets to liver and iliac bone. he doesnt have any pain or whatsoever, he did lose 35 lbs though. is this still treatable? whats the life expectancy?

Hard to know: The most common cause of liver inflammation in children is viral hepatitis. Although some children are vaccinated for hepatitis b and hepatitis a, there are other types of viruses which can cause inflammation also. Check with your doctor for more information. Most viral hepatitis will resolve on its own. If your child is vomiting frequently, have him checked by the doctor.

Pelvic pain: Pain could be multifactorial and not necessarily coming from the ovaries. You need to be evaluated in order to ascertain the source of the pain.

Post-infectious...: The persistence of symptoms of intestinal sensitivity and variable stools sound more consistent with a "post-infectious" irritable bowel, but may characterize giardia, a carrier state of chronic infection, or even "topical sprue." this post-infectious syndrome has recently also been appreciated after recovery from diverticulitis. Ask your doctor for re-evaluation &amp; re-treatment as appropriate.

do i have another sti/d? i once treated pelvic inflammatory disease. i felt pain recently after sex in my lower abdomen and it really hurts when trying to empty my bladder. i want to know if it's because of the deep penetration, rough sex or sti/d?

: Sex alone should never be painful internally, and any new or unexplained abdominal pain needs professional assessment. It isn't necessarily a gyn problem. If no vaginal discharge, PID is less likely. If it's on the right, appendicitis is possible. Other intestinal problems also are possible. See your doctor ASAP. (Do it immediately if the pain remains severe or if you have fever.) Good luck.

Depends upon cause: If the liver is failing it really depends upon the cause. If the cause is treatable then the liver may be able to recover. If the cause is not treatable then it may not be reversible.

how do i know exactly what occurs when the liver is inflamed?

Inflammation ...: Is caused by the infiltration of white blood cells into the liver.  If there is an infection or injury, then the cells become "activated" to kill the bad cells.  The which cells sent out chemicals which can injure the liver cells further and call in more white cells.  If this goes on long enough, then scarring (fibrosis) can develop.
