Uncoordinated swallo: "dysphagia" is difficulty swallowing, can be due to muscular, neurological issues. See md, may need a swallowing study, e.g. Video esophagram, to watch the mechanism, with liquids, thin and thick , as well as solids.

Coughing can be caused by lots of problems.  It may be from an issue with the nose, voicebox, lungs or simply appear and persist (annoyingly) after a viral cold. Check with your regular doc for initial guidance.
