Accepted Answer

No: Moles can be removed by surgery, lasers, and certain prescriptions creams and ointments.  If it is a new mole (one that has not been there your whole life) you need to see your family doctor or dermatologist to determine if the mole should be removed.

chemical burn on tongue from oregano oil. only discoloration is red and irritation. will my tongue heal and return back to normal?

Tongue burn: Should completely recover unless third degree burn. Avoid smoking. alcohol, spicy foods. Can do rinses with baking soda, 1/2 tsp in 8oz of lukewarm water.

can vitamin e oil and a band-aid remove moles?

Accepted Answer

NO: Moles are not out side the skin , vit e and other creams may clean if they are on outer surface of skin , but will not remove , some moles may become malignant melanomas  , get it checked , and remove suspicious lesions.

is it removing moles with tea tree oil possible? regardles to  some clinical trials i cannnot see how it can remove some in sito dysplastic nevus?

Wouldn't count on it: No matter what you read either on the internet or in a journal about tea tree oil, i definitely would not rely on it to treat any type of dysplastic nevus.  Even a lesion in situ!  it is always best to excise (have them surgically removed) and send to the pathologist, so you can have proof that the entire lesion is out.

recently had a mole on the back of my neck removed.after 2 weeks it has grown back black as well as with a red ring around it. could this be dangerous?

Need more info: All depends on how the mole was removed and was it sent for microscopic examination? Did the doctor do a punch biopsy or cut it out with a scalpel and then suture it closed? The red ring could be indication of beginning infection. Please get back to the doctor who took the mole off and ask him/her the answers to the questions I just posed.

No: It sounds like the area may be infected. Contact your surgeon. You may need an antibiotic.

i had 3 moles removed & they are healing well, but i'm having a reaction to the bandage adhesive. it's making my skin red & itchy, any  alternative?

Bandage Reaction: Reaction to tapes applied over incisions is not oncommon. When it happens, you simply need to remove the tapes and clean the area. The irritation will resolve in time.

Possible infection : Have your physician examine the area for possibility of infection.

Yes: Totally normal. If not better within a week, see Doc for reevaluation.

Revocery: As long as no drainage from lesion or surrounding redness this sounds like typical wound healing.
