Remove makeup before bed. Shower after strenuous exercise. Consider OTC products (salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide).  Retinoids/ comedone extractor can be helpful for black heads. If &gt; mild acne see dermatology.

Could be bacteria: If these are truly whiteheads (i.e., pimples), then they are collections of pus.  It may be related to colonization of your nasal passages with bacteria (more than normal).  You should probably see your doctor to be sure this is not a sign of a more serious medical process.  It may be as simple as a course of antibiotics to clear it or you may need some topical antibiotics in your nose.

See a dermatologist: Once you control the acne, probably with 100mg daily spironolactone or 100mg daily minocycline, the scars will gradually improve. Tretinoin or adapalene gel will probably be helpful. If these fail, isotretinoin orally will rescue you.

Whiteheads: Wash face with Cetaphil and dry well.  It is recommended to use Tretinoin on a regular daily basis.  Most patients need that for several months.  It can cause redness.  Avoid excessive sun exposure.

Leave nose alone: The more you try to press your nose, the greater the bruising will be.  Popping whiteheads can also result in scarring.  Try to resist the temptation to "pop those zits."  Instead use acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide wash and adapalene cream.
