Hair follicles: Those dark spots are the hair follicles: the tiny holes that the hairs grow out of. After you remove the hair, the follicle is still alive, and starts to grow a new hair. The holes/follicles remain, and that is the dark spot you see.

Many possibilities: There are many things that may cause a discoloration of the skin. Cause may be genetic or environmental. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, sun exposure, insect bites, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause a discoloration of the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

i wax bikini line - found a circular dark shadow/spot under skin. ingrown hair? something else? it just looks like a shadow, but can't see a hair.

Fordyce spots: Fordyce spots are completely normal large oil glands.  They can be treated by some destructive modality such as freezing or burning but there is no reason to do so and they almost always grow back over time

can a clear type of retainer cause craze lines on teeth, if you are grinding on it too hard?i place dental wax on the spots wear i am grinding the most

See your dentist: If you want an accurate answer to your question, you will have to see a dentist.  Since we can't actually examine you, nor see exactly what you are referring to, we can't be expected to properly answer your question. Since you don't wear the retainer all the time, the problem might arise when you aren't using it. Rather than knowing if it could be problematic, see a dentist to find out for sure.

Ouch : Lotrisone (clotrimazole and betamethasone) is available over the counter. It might help. I'd schedule a visit though to make sure that is all it is.

Leg wax: sometimes the application is a slightly excessive but should disappear on its own but you can use cream to help it heal

Antibiotic cream: Neosprin or bacitracin  cream;if it gets worse see your doctor
