i'm still bleeding after period. it's not light. it'll go away for a few hours then bleed for a few hours. i should have been off my period 3 days ago?

You need to be seen: Thanks for your question!  When women experience extremely heavy periods, you can get anemic pretty quick.  Schedule an appointment with your GYN to be examined and to get some blood work. Hope this helps!

Relax...: and breath.  Sounds like your period to me.  Is this your first one, or is there something about it that is different?  I would advise you to speak with your mom or adult female to help you determine if what you are experiencing is normal or if it needs to be evaluated.  For now, know it sounds normal!

Claritin (loratadine): You do not mention what are your side effects. The antihistaminic effect of the medication may persist for up to 5 days, if you took Claritin (loratadine) d, the decongestant side effects will subside within 24 hours.

i've been experiencing a small swollen bump in my inner thigh near my groin. it will get worse, usually around my period, and then it will go away for a couple weeks. when it's not swollen, the area appears bruised/darker. what might the problem be?

: A physician would have to examine you for diagnosis and to advise you. I have seen a bulging varicose vein near the groin which could be what you have. It would be easily pushed in and then will bulge out. . Around period time fluid retention could make it more prominent. An inguinal hernia is another possible cause of a groin lump. See your MD or gynecologist for evaluation of this bump.

NO!: Trichomoniasis (or "trich") is a sexually acquired infection. This infection requires antibiotics for both you and your partner in order to cure the infection.  In addition, I strongly recommend additional STD testing since having one type can increase your risk of having a different one. Please see your doctor right away, and refrain from sex until both you and your partner are treated.

Not normal: There are a lot of things that can cause this including fibroids, polyps,infections,medications, and diseases such as thyroid disease, diabetes, and PCOS. It is not normal and you need to be seen promptly. Do not wait until you stop bleeding. You need to be seen and examined right away.

At your age: You can have an endometrial ablation, I do those in office to get rid of the endometrial tissue so , no more periods or cramps takes 8 minutes my office, you could also take low dose bc pills i rec loloestrin, or a med called Lysteda on your periods, or meds like Motrin or anaprox (naproxen) ds so you need to see your gyn to see what will be best for you.

Irregular periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Could be: A skin irritation, infection, herpes.....So see your doctor for an evaluation.
