Stay off it: Not as easy as it sound, but if you have truly fractured your coccyx the more you stay off it the less pain you will have and hopefully the quicker it will heal.  This will involve limiting your sitting or sitting on a cushion with a cut out.  They have tried reducing displaced coccyx fractures and even holding them with pins, but have not found it helpful.

Ouchie Coccyx!: Not much can be done even if you broke your tailbone, except for getting a nice foam pillow with a hole cut out of the middle to sit on.  Taking an anti-inflammatory like aleve 1-2 tabs twice a day (with food) for a week or two will help.  You can also take tylenol (acetaminophen) 2 tabs every 8 hours in addition to the aleve if the pain is bad.

That depends!: How long will it take for your tail bone to heal depends on how much abuse it suffered. If your tail bone broke due to a heavy fall, it takes  much longer than when you sustained a trivial trauma from sitting too long on an aircraft.

Depends: some people nad some bones heal faster of slower 
in general it is at least 6 weeks to some early stability / 3 months to pretty good  stability and  at least 6 months to "full" healing although it can take a whole lot longer   and  to fully remodel bone certainly does take longer 
good vit D level helps things to heal up a bit quicker IMHO

Protect: This takes time. Sit on a doughnut all the time, or stand. Have you had an xr or been evaluated by an orthopedist? If not this is the place to start.

Depends: Depending on size and severity of the crack/fracture  and how active you are it could take up to 6-8 weeks or more. Definitely take it easy and don't push yourself too much while healing.
