Be healthy: Do not use any feminine hygiene products such as douches.  These products are advertised as being healthy but are not; they increase rates of bacterial vaginosis and cause irritation.  Simply following general healthy lifestyle principals is the way to go: maintaining a healthy weight, exercising for &gt; 30 minutes at least 3x weekly, avoiding concentrated sweets and heavily processed foods

See your doctor: You have symptoms which could be serious and should see your physician.  He/she will listen to you, do a physical examinarion, run some tests, and let you know what's going on.

Insert a tampon: If the blood is vaginal, it will stain the tampon. If it is urinary, the tampon will remain unstained.

hi i had a track meet thursday and today i noticed the inside of my left vagina lip was swollen i put cortisone10 on it and it instantly felt better ?

? Local irritation: For whatever reason and got better with the application of the hydrocortisone, few daily applications are fine, but if it gets worse or recurs, you want to see your doctor, good luck

Possible yeast: If you are having a white discharge at time of your menstrual period, you may be having a yeast (monilia, candida) vaginal infection. Do get evaluated, since treatment may be simple. Treatment may be more difficult if you have diabetes or have recently been taking antibiotics. Hope that helps.

Might be prolapse: A urinary tract infection doesn't usually cause anything to protrude. I'd recommend seeing your gyn to have an exam and see what the problem is from.  Prolapse (bulging/protruding) can be from the uterus, bladder, rectum or urethra or a combination of these.

i might have toilet tissue in my vagina, i don't get periods and i don't want to douch. am i in danger of health issues? will it come out on its own?

Foreign object: You can take it out manually. Although most of the time, nothing will happen but leaving a foreign object in the vagina is inviting infection at some point. It might be expelled during your next menstrual cycle but no need to wait.

Since : Since this is a change for you i would advise having an examination.  Some women do think that coffee, tea, or other strong beverages can cause this.  Yeast can cause an odd odor.  You could try a feminind hygiene spray to see if that helps, and be sure you wear only cotton underwear.  But since is a change i would advise having an examination, and also be sure your pap smear is up to date.

a dog licked my vagina whilst i was sleeping, now i have a discharge, have had sexual health tests, nothing has come back abnormal.  what can i do?

Vaginal discharge: Vaginal discharge's are related to secondary causes such as sexual practices and medical condition such as diabetes . You can try Otc vaginal cry with metranidazole for the vaginosis but if there is still discharge then you need to see a gynologist. You dog was not the cause and please do not douche it may just make it worse.

Age, other issues?: Most simple scenario: if you are post-menopausal, there are local creams with estrogen to help you. Make sure there is no other cause ( infection, inflammation, systemic disorders) and see your obgyn.
