Depends on cause: Depends on what the discoloration means.  Some medicines can cause skin changes.  For some people, darker or lighter skin in certain areas is normal.  In these cases, there are no really effective medications to help.  Laser may be helpful.   If the discoloration is the result of an infection (fungus) you will need medicine.  Dry skin can also result in discoloration.

Stuffy nose: Could be due to allergies or anatomy. Get checked out. If allergy, medical treatment may help. Nasal anatomy can be corrected with surgery. See an ent.
