Use only Wt. and Ht.: BMI is a screening number, and uses only Weight and Height. Don't add in other stuff to get the BMI number. CDC says:  the accuracy of BMI as an indicator of body fatness... varies depending on the degree of body fatness. In other words, among relatively heavy children, BMI is a good indicator of excess body fatness;... among relatively thin children... BMI is more an indicator of fat-free mass...

Fair: Your bmi is 25 kg/m2 and considered slightly overweight. However it is more important to measure the waist line size which should be much less than 35 inch in a female of your age.  Do note that if you are somewhat muscular, the bmi may well be normal.

40-60 is huge range: The categories normal, overweight, and obese are defined by the body mass index (BMI), which is a measurement that looks at one's weight in comparison to his height. Tall people are allowed to weigh more than short people are. BMI calculators are available at the doctor's office and also on the internet. An adult with a BMI of 18.5-24.9 is normal, 25-29.9 is overweight, and 30 or more is obese.
