Dark skin: No.  Don't even think about this concept.  There are pigment lighteners for selected areas, but the use of the most powerful one of these is limited to the care of very, very skilled dermatologists.  Don't go down that hazardous road.

Would not: Since Accutane dries out your skin and one of the side effects of a hydroquinone is irritation i would not use both of the medications at the same time. After you have stopped the Accutane and your skin is no longer dry you can consider using the hydroquinone.

Careful: Hydroquinone has been used for skin bleaching/lightening of the skin so it is expected to work for hyper-pigmentation and not hypopigmentation ( might make it worse). It has also been banned in different countries and that's why best would be to get your doc weigh in your options for your skin condition before attempting to self treat.

: Yes, but you will get better results if you use the hydroquinone twice a day . You can apply it after the Vitamin C at night. The most important step that you’re missing, is to wear a sunblock with Zinc oxide everyday in the mornings. Apply it on top of the Hydroquinone and if going out, wear a wide brimmed hat and seek the shadow. Once you’re clear, don’t stop the Sunblock or the vit.C
