Not in US: If anyone is at higher risk to get tuberculosis such as healthcare providers, annual TB skin test is a standard.

Not years later: Those scars should mature with age. If it recently became inflammed you must look for a reason. If necessary see your family doc, dermatologist or plastic surgeon.

No: There is no cross reaction between them.  By the way, up to 5% of normal individuals may test positive to ANA test, usually at low titer.

TB testing in NH: In virginia everyone entering a nh must show evidence of lack of TB via skin test or chest xray.    Further testing should be at the desire of the attending physcian.  Now if there is a documented case of TB within the home i think it would be reasonable to screen all the residents.

: From what you describe chances are minimal. You did and are doing the right thing. Yes vaccinated people can get the 'variant' forms and transmit if they become carriers. So continue your precautions.

if i am fully vaccinated with pfizer, and get a pcr test a few days after a potential exposure (i am being safe since there is a vulnerable person in home), what are the chances the pcr test will show dead virus? (i.e. my immunity fought it off??

: The PCR does not test whether is is a dead or live virus. It just looks for the genetic material that the virus has. You can still get covid if immunized and could spread it if you become infected. Current data suggests ICU level infection if fully immunized is about 1/28000. Symptom free carriers are hard to estimate.

If it is varicella, : the medical name for chickenpox, he can go back to school when all the lesions are scabbed over &amp; dry, usually in 5-7 days. Not likely: What do you mean by tested positive? Unless the spouse has lung tuberculosis and has tested positive of TB bacteria in the sputum, the person is not contagious.

Doesn't matter: One can get a PPD skin test regardless of whether or not she has a cold. Regarding TB testing, sometimes getting a Quantiferon TB blood test is more accurate or more desirable than a PPD skin test (one's primary care doctor can advise on that). For example, a person who has had a BCG shot and has not had a negative PPD test since the BCG shot, might want to do the blood test instead of a PPD test.
