Other than a corrupted test, or using it inappropriately, the test is pretty accurate. If after 2-3 of those tests are negative and you still "feel" pregnant, that same feeling could come from something other than a baby and you should talk to a gynecologist or endocrinologist about it.

In fact we use HCG as an injection to trigger ovulation for IUI and ivf cycles.  This injection will cause an ovulation test to turn positive.
