Fracture: It would have healed by now normally. But did it heal correctly or not, that's the issue. If there was also damage to the adjacent nerves, this may be responsible for your pain. Get a work up.

Ask the bone doc: Usually depend on the seriousness of the fracture wait until the time allowed to heal to recognized if there is any sign of necrosis. If the bone doctor decide based on the X Ray that there is no other way but to replace the head they preceded without any wait.that is why it depend on the X Ray and the bone doctor reviewing the X Ray good luck

: radial head may have healed in a non anatomic position resulting in impingement you need followup xrays and orthopedic evaluation. Sometimes these fractures require radial head resection and possible implant.

Variable: Talk to your surgeon...However i tend to monitor this closely. Keep in a cast 7-10 days then hinge brace.

Most : Most radial head prothesis do not require removal. There are some circumstances that require removal. If there is intractable pain, or osteolysis around the prosthesis (bone being eroded) a removal may be indicated. I have personally only removed one prosthesis in my career.
