Acid reflux: If you're reflux was related to iron tablets then 6 to 8 weeks is sufficient time to get relief from the symptoms. If symptoms persisted upper G.I. consult will be necessary

Iron pills: Are only needed , for both men and women , only if one is low on iron.
It is imperative to discover the reason for iron deficiency.
Iron commonly causes gastrointestinal symptoms.
This should all be under the supervision of your doctor.
Too much iron is unhealthy.

Three days at most: If you are still constipated, and you believe it is the iron, take a laxative to clean out the bowel. Most medications and foods are eliminated from the body within three days in most people.

Quite variable: Only one of the things you mentioned, d3, is a vitamin; the others are minerals. B vitamins and vit. C are water-soluble; other than B12 they are not stored in your system and leave within several hours.  The fat-soluble vitamins a, d, e & k can stay for several weeks, as can minerals- for example iron can be stored for several months.

About 5-7 Days: Although each child is different, it is quite common to see some GI changes with switching formulas - especially over the next week. I would make sure to give some time to allow the child to adjust to a new formula before making a decision on switching again - at least 5-7 days.  The child's digestive system needs time to adjust to the new properties of a different formula.

Depends: There are many different ways to get iron.  Dietary iron will help but is probably the slowest method.  Oral iron supplements can vary in their absorption but do work for most people.  Also for those who dont respond to oral iron or need their iron improved in a hurry there are injectable and IV iron preparations which can be give.  Ask your doctor which is right for you.

Use as directed: If you take a multivitamin with iron, and eat iron-rich foods, there should not be any risk of overload. If you use otc supplements as directed for more severe cases, your dr should provide a duration of treatment--it should not be taken for extended periods without some form of monitoring. If a menstruating female, regular blood loss usually both causes the need and prevents excess buildup.

Many answers: If you were born with iron deficiency, this should have been corrected. However i suspect that your problem is not from iron deficiency which can be easily verified by blood tests.  Thus you need to see a doctor such as a hematologist to find out what may be causing your anemia.  Depression is a far more likely cause for your lack of energy but make sure that nothing else could be wrong.

Iron deficiency from: Uc is due to poor absorption of iron related to the inflammation and blood loss related to  bleeding. Take care!
