Absolutely: Cryotherapy, a procedure i assume was used with you to destroy abnormal cells on your cervix, simply and literally causes frostbite on the cells affected.  No chemicals or radiation that could have deleterious effects on your baby are used.  The only problem is it could (but apparently didn't) trigger contractions, but is much more likely to occur if the procedure takes place later in pregnancy.

trying to get pregnant the 21st nov but i just found out i have to get cryotherapy done on the 30 nov. will that affect the chances  becoming pregnant?

Possibly: No real way to answer this question. Theoretically i guess that the cryotherapy could affect the odds of pregnancy given that you would have already ovulated. You could ask your doc and consider option of doing it just after period ends and before ovulation. But if you get pregnant then you will have to defer your cryotherapy until after you deliver. Best to discuss with your gyn.

Very good: Cryotherapy should have minimal if any effect on your fertility.  The concerns will be with the effect on the cervix during a pregnancy.

i'm thinking about cryotherapy for my plantar wart. does these chemicals enter the bloodstream? since i want to get pregnant, don't want to mess with chemicals?

: Cryotherapy involves liquid nitrogen or liquid nitrous oxygen applied to the wart for defined times. The material freezes the tissue causing it to form ice crystals and expand, tearing apart its structure.  Nothing in this treatment ever enters the bloodstream.

pregnant 3x  one child, 1 abortion & 1 miscarriage. i had cryotherapy due to abnormal cells. i haven't been pregnant in 14yrs  am i infertile ?

See below: Discuss with your ob doctor.  You can determine with various tests if you are ovulating.  I understand the abortion, but what caused the miscarriage?  Your doctor should be able to guide you.

Could be: The timing sounds like you might be, check a home test soon.

i have had 3-4 cryotherapy and a leep currently 26 weeks pregnant is there a chance of preterm labor or can i carry full term?

Cervical length : The cryotherapy is not relevant. A leep can slightly increase your risk but not much. Ask your doctor to measure your cervical length by sonogram.

Probably a good idea: I  would wait at least a month.  This drug is used to treat very significant infections.  My recommendation would be to ask your doctor based on your unique situation how long you need to wait to get pregnant.

my period date is passed si can i do sex or shall i wait i want to become pregnant?

Accepted Answer

Pregnant: Ovulation usually occurs midcycle.  So calculate about 10 days from the start of your last period and then start having relations with your partner for the next few days to maximize your chances.  This is on the presumption that your periods are regular and that ovulation occurs midcycle.
