Tissue?: Colposcopy is the gold standard diagnostic tool for diagnosing cervical intraepithelial neoplasia following abnormal cytology (abnormal pap). Simple language The GYN uses different solutions and light to examine the all areas of the  cervix to check for abnormal tissue. Biopsies of cells are taken. Your sx could be normal s/e of the procedure. Contact the Gyn who performed the procedure to review.

See your doctor now.: Under the circumstances, as the bleeding hasn't stopped, you should see your doctor for an evaluation of this issue.  Bleeding isn't surprising given the fact that you had colposcopy and biopsy(most likely cone biopsy), but you should've at least slowed down by now.  The fact that you're still bleeding means you might've had a bigger wound than expected or a possible clotting issue, so see dr now.

hi there, i had a colposcopy/biopsy on the 12th of oct and only really started bleeding on the 19th. bleeding gets heavier daily, is this normal?

Not normal: Please contact the doctor who performed the colonoscopy or your primary care provider.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

on the 2 september, i did a biopsy and colposcopy and i have been bleeding since then. is this normal or do i need to consult? the blooding is not heavy its light to mild..?

Depends on you : If the bleeding is not serious and you are not overly concerned you can watch and wait . It might resolve after sometime. But if it persists or gets worse it may be prudent to ask your doctor to check what’s causing you to bleed for so long.

May be a couple of: Days. Most biopsy sites should not bleed for more that a day or two. However, spotting may last longer depending on the reason for the biopsy. It would be prudent to ask your doctor who has more information about your health.

Check with surgeon: Cervical injury (surgery) is painful once the anesthetic wears off. The surgical wound is still fresh and some bleeding or spotting may be expected. Anything mor disturbing to you requires follow up with the surgeon who did the procedure
