This may be due to: Pms.Pms sxs can include feeling tearful, irritability, mood swings, anger, depressed mood, change in sex drive  & anxiety.  These may be accompanied by swelling of the breasts (or extremities), weight gain, abdominal bloating, cramps, nausea,  ^ urinary frequency, overeating, headaches (to include migraines), dizziness, fainting & palpitations. Sleep may be disturbed with problems w acne or hives.

Past history: Your past history of menstrual cycles is the best way to determine if this is normal for you. If what you are experiencing this cycle is different than the many years of cycles you have had in the past then it can not be considered normal for you.

Positive line: When you state a “faint positive line” are you referring to a pregnancy test? If so then it is important to see a doctor for pregnancy confirmation. Bleeding during pregnancy is very common but never normal and requires an evaluation to make sure all is normal.

my period is heavier, lasting longer and has blood clots. i'm also getting cramps, which i don't normally get. what's wrong with me?

Likely nothing: It is quite likely that there is nothing wrong with you. Variations in menstrual bleeding are normal. However, since you seem to be losing more blood, you should take oral iron supplement to prevent anemia. You should discuss it with your doctor at the next visit.

im trying to get pregnant. my period was supposed to be 4 days ago. i have only had 1 spot of blood. i've been having lower abdomen cramps, and bloating. nauseous this morning.  i also had a stressful weekend. not sure if i should test or wait longer?

EITHER: Hard to say I would take the test it tends to be very sensitive and accurate. If it is negative and you still do not have your period then try the test again later. Good luck!! Take your prenatal vitamins and do not smoke or do drugs or alcohol in the meantime!
