No: Do you mean your total igg level  being low or just to the hsv?   If total igg is normal, then a low anti-hsv igg likely means that you have had no recent exposure.

Probably unlikely: Recurrent herpes urethritis can happen but is uncommon. The chance might be slightly higher if your initial herpes infection involved your urethra (usually quite painful), but even then it would be uncommon.

if my first outbreak of genital herpes was very mild, that means that the recurrence are going to be mild or i will not have recurrence at all?

Typically : Typically the first outbreak of herpes is the worst, and subsequent outbreaks are lesser intensity or painless shedding of virus.  A person might, as you say, never have an outbreak again.  I see women who don't even know they have herpes because they've never had an outbreak.  Safe sex practices are the best to make sure that you don't spread herpes.  If you do have an outbreak, take acyclovir.

i'm hsv-positive. how common is herpes infection to progress into serious complications like herpetic encephalitis? and what can i possibly do to ultimately avoid it (and also avoid recurrence outbreaks). so far i have no outbreak!!?

: Most herpes encephalitis occurs during initial HSV infection. If "HSV-positive" means blood test, you are at very low risk for encephalitis. For which type did you test positive? Encephalitis occurs only with HSV1. And possibly you don't have HSV at all. The blood tests are far from perfect, often with false positive or false negative results. Maybe post a new question with detailed test results.

i have genital herpes. i am currently having sores near my clitoris and a rash on my thigh near the vagina. am i having a recurrence?

Could be: You really need a physical exam by your dr. / or gyn dr. To adeqautely diagnose wether or not you are having a herpes outbreak.  It is almost impossible to diagnose that over the computer. Good luck.

NO !!: If you have open active lesions you are highly infective by direct contact with individuals who have never previously encountered the virus.

Yes you can: Herpes doesn't prevent you from having babies.  It's an infection you will probably be dealing with periodically for the rest of your life but it doesn't affect fertility.

Approximately: 7-10 days , u need to call your gyn to get on Valtrex (valacyclovir) asap it will lessen the duration.
