I am always concerned when someone is going to a stranger online to ask these questions, rather than the prescribing doctor or their pharmacist, and I think my concern is that they are drinking far more than they are comfortable telling them about. Even social drinking can be dangerous with some medications, and larger amounts more so. Talk to your MD!

Be careful: Theres no specific time or alcohol level i could quote as alcohol reacts differently with everyone. Alprazolam and alcohol share some of the same receptors. This means thexanax could significantly potentate the alcohol. Caution!
