Abortion: It is usually recommended that your avoid strenuous exercise for 2 to 5 days after a surgical abortion.
It is recommended that you avoid sexual activities involving vaginal penetration for 2 weeks after a surgical abortion assuming that the abortion was complete &amp; you have been medically cleared by your physician. There can be variation in provider recommendations.

Discharge Papers: You should have received discharge instructions after the procedure.  I would imagine if you are not having any trouble with bleeding, you could resume your workouts after 3-4 days recovery. If you have any specific, vigorous workouts that you do, call your surgeon.  You would probably want to avoid water sports/or activities where there might be pressurized water entering the vagina.

Ask your Abortion MD: You need to ask your abortion MD as you don't say if the procedure was medical (pill) induced or surgical. Either way the cervix is still open and infection risk is higher for at least one to two weeks.

2 weeks: 10-14 days is a reasonable time if your term was less then 12 weeks and there are no bleeding or complications. Best, is ask you gynecologist.

Shouldn't be: A pregnancy termination normally doesn't change one's ability to conceive unless an infection occurred and damage to the uterine lining happened. Ovulation shouldn't change either.
