Regular use: of birth control pills, does correct the period issue, but not the cause.  Likely PCOS, irregular ovulation is the problem.
Pregnancy prevention is very good with the use of the birth control pill.  Ask your doctor about PCOS, and ovulation issues, particularly if you wish to conceive.

Accepted Answer

Very Unlikely: If the condom was used appropriately and you take your birth control as prescribed, it is very unlikely that you would get pregnant no matter where you are in your menstrual cycle.

Hard to tell: Depends on how long you the pills for and having sex during your fertile period

Unlikely: It's unlikely that you'll ovulate in the first few days after you start bleeding.  However, I do tell my patients to consider that there is no such thing as a 'safe' day.  If you are taking your birth control pills as well, then that's another protection.  Birth control pills when taken perfectly every day prevent about 96% of all pregnancies.  So still no 100%. Not likely: Being on Birth control pills will prevent 95-97% of all pregnancies no matter when you have intercourse.  If you have a normal period in flow, timing and duration you are not pregnant.  Intercourse 2 days prior to your expected period has lower chance of pregnancy.  So when you combine all 3 of these factors, you are highly unlikely to get pregnant.  Best wishes!

Yes: If a woman gets pregnant with an egg produced between when she stopped birth control and what would have been her first period off of birth control, then she doesn't get a period (she got pregnant instead).

Preg test : If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy. If you are taking birth control correctly then you won't need to take a pregnancy test.

Be patient: Birth control pills contain estrogen which suppresses ovulation by inhibiting normal fluctuations in your body's own hormones.  It may take up to several months for your body to get back into its natural hormone cycle and it is not unusual after coming off birth control.  Maintain a healthy diet and keep a regular sleep schedule.  If you do not have your cycle back in 4-6 months seek help.

Seek reproductive endocrinology care as soon as possible to get to the bottom of this abnormal history before it takes irreversible toll on your health! check your thyroid, kidney, liver, endocrine function tests and keep all appointment with your rei specialist!
