Probably not: Smoking is probably one of the worst things you can do to your health.  However, I am not aware of any evidence that connects smoking with thyroid disease.  There is an association between smoking and developing thyroid eye disease in people who have graves's disease, but that is not related to the thyroid itself.

All the usual risks: All the same risks of smoking with a thyroid, many cancers, heart disease, copd, etc.  If you have grave's disease (hyperthyroidism) or if you ever had graves disease, smoking exacerbates the eye disease (ophthalmopathy) that can occur.

No: No effect on result of the scan.

Don't think so: Smoking causes lots of problems, but overactive thyroid is not one of them.  If your partner has hyperthyroidism, the overproduction or over-release of thyroid hormone, there are many causes, including viral infections and auto-immune disease.  Further testing should be done.  Ask for a referral to an endocrinologist, a specially trained physician in this area.

Smoking?: Ptu (propylthiouracil) has been used during pregnancy without mayor issues with the baby, though you do need to watch for adverse events on the mother.  Smoking does not alter thyroid status.  Now if you are taking Clomid for regulation of ovulation because you want to get pregnant, what are you doing smoking?

i have problems with mine thyroid gland, mine tsh is 8.760, it is possible that cannabis made this problem? will smoking weed help or make it worse?

Unlikely: There really is no relevant data to suggest that cannabis will cause subclinical hypothyroidism or let alone treat it.

i have hypothyroidism but my doc said i may have hyperthyroidism as well. could smoking marijuana have caused this or affect my thyroid at all?

Unlikely : Though certain thyroid conditions can cause both hypo and hyper thyroidism at one point or another, both cannot exist at the same time. It would be like saying your gas tank is full and empty at the same time. At this time there aren't any conclusive studies showing that chronic marijuana use directly affects thyroid function. However, marijuana does affect other hormones.
