Yes: You can get a copy of all of your medical records at your doctor's office.  You may have to pay a fee for the photocopying and administration time.  If you want copies of x-rays, cts, and mris, you need to go to the radiology center and request either print outs or a cd with them.  Again, there will be a charge for that.  Medical records are kept for several years only - each state is different.

A good thing.: If you search the web on gardasil, there are a number of web sites that purport that Gardasil has caused many deaths and that merck is covering things up. These claims are not supported by medical evidence. Gardasil, as well as all other vaccines, are monitored by the cdc and the fda in post-marketing safety data. That data can be found at:

Its a very good tool: It's a great tool but should be used for the right reasons . Not to abuse it for convenience.

No: Not really.The growth parameters of your child recorded at the doctors visits are what is important. Also there is no absolute " right" way to feed a child.

Don't know: Not sure why you would want to know. Lack of sleep for more than a couple of days can cause problems with reality orientation and memory as well as physical exhaustion of the body.

Many things: Hippa puts great restrictions on who may view your record.  But - the big exception is that insurance companies and government agencies have full access without your consent.    Of course the record is out there in the electronic cloud and any clever hacker can get access if they have the skills and intent. It is definitely not as safe as a paper record.
