i am laying in bed and my legs feel hot and like they are disconnected from my body. almost like a shaky, buzzing feeling in my legs. what could it be?

Possible RLS: It is possible that you have restless legs syndrome. Consult your doctor or a neurologist for evaluation and treatment.

at night after going to bathroom after i get i to bed both of my legs get this hot, tingly sensation which goes away after a few minutes .?

Hot feeling in legs: If you are taking any medications for BP or any other condition, it may be due to that but if it only happens once at night and it is not causing too much discomfort then you do not need to worry.But discuss with your doctor in context of your total health picture.

possible cause of numbness in back of both legs after a shower? not tingling or weakness but numbness after a shower. shower water is not hot but warm to lukewarm. happens only after a shower or time in warm pool, no other time. bed sitting stops it?

Skin irritation: From your description it appears that your skin is irritated. Remove everything that is covering your knees, and wait for skin to cool off.  If your symptoms worsen then seek medical attention right away.

tight right calf muscle for @ 1 week. worse with rest,  seems tingling /burning/ itchy at night in bed. not hot or discolored.  thoughts?

Calf discomfort: One possibility is congestion in the calf veins which builds up during the day's activity on your feet. Elevating the leg should relieve that discomfort,however. Irritability of calf nerves or muscles may be a cause. A blood clot in a calf vein usually is accompanied by swelling and tenderness. It's best to have a physician examine your leg and, if deemed advisable, get an ultrasound of the veins

the back of my left calf above my ankle is very itchy and my toes feel numb while laying down in bed. i read an answer about hot bath can be the problem, i wonder if it's that or lack of exercise?

Either: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.  Wish you good health!

Many reasons: Most important is to see your doctor!  could be simple as bed bugs, or fleas, but could be a vascular condition warning you of diabetes, or peripheral artery disease.  If you are a women who is perimenopausal, or on bc pills, these are synthetic hormones and can really create havoc in your reproductive system, one symptom of which is itchy legs or hot feet.  Find an exp biodentical specialist.

Difficult to know: without getting more history and examining you.  If you have a rash could be shingles.  Other possibility is neuropathy.

Hyper-esthesia: The feeling you experience, does extends from the upper legs? lower thighs, is it equal on both sides?
Do you have it all the time-intermittent?
Is numbness present? For how long

Seems to be a peripheral neropathy, do you have any medical condition, are you on medications?
Is it worsening?

See doctor: You need to see your doctor right away and if that is not possible you may need to go to the emergency department for an evaluation. Not being able to use your legs may mean that there is a problem with your spinal cord. Please be see as soon as possible.
