i have hyperhidrosis (hands, feet). 2-4x a year i get sweat blisters & hives. then my hands crack and peel. is this normal? what can i do about it?

Overactive: Sympathetic nervous system. It might be genetic but the hives suggests that it might be as simple as poor diet because that affects the control mechanisms in the lower brain.Sugar is often the villain.

my hands have been peeling off for almost two weeks now i keep applying lotion every now and again but however its not fixing the problem and my hands are not frequently in water except when i take a shower or washing them before i eat?

Try applying: a MOISTURIZING hand lotion and WEARING WHITE GLOVES when you are sleeping at night!

i was just diagnosed with mono. the skin on my hands is peeling now. is that normal?

Unusual: It's an unusual and not commonly seen clinical manifestation of mono but it can occur with the disease. It's best to try to avoid peeling it (although I know that's hard!) and let it be. It won't hurt you any more than the other symptoms you may have, other than making sure you protect your spleen at all costs. I wish you a speedy recovery!

Peeling hands: Peeling hands can result from shedding of the skin following exposure to certain chemicals, fungal infections, bacterial infections, eczema type reactions,  or Kawasaki disease (children).  Treatment varies depending on the cause.

: Was your hand in the splint/cast after your surgery? This is likely due to dry skin so cleaning your hand with soap and water and then applying a lotion to moisturize should resolve this issue. Best of luck to you!
