HSV testing: I think part of your report got cut off. Usually a lab report will state the cut off for where they call a test positive and where it's negative. IgG just means "long term immunity" or past exposure to some germ; whereas IgM means more recent exposure. Each virus or germ has it's own signature -so for the cold sore virus- that's HSV1. If u have it, your IgG will be positive. HSV2 is genital herpes

Usually oral: Herpes infections are described as type i (oral /cold sores)or type ii(genital). However, either type can cause affect either location. Igg antibody detected by a blood test. & indicates one has been exposed to the virus at least several weeks prior &possibly much longer- as in years. Most people who have HSV antibody have no idea that they have herpes.

: An equivocal result of 1.07 means that you might or might not have Herpes Simplex Virus.  Since it is at the upper end of the equivocal range, it is more likely to be a positive, but it does warrant a retest if possible.
