Possible &amp; unlikely: Herpes seldom recurs outside the area in which you had the initial outbreak. It is extremely painful and tender and presents initially as a blister-like lesion. This sounds like it is something else. Show it to a doctor. Good luck.

Red bump: It is likely that it was a pimple/blackhead and is still healing. Herpes usually has more than just one  "bump" in a defined area if not located on the lip. A chemical burn: you'd have to have a history of chemical exposure. Best of luck.

Suspicious Bump?: I would advise you to have the red bump on your tongue examined by a dentist or dental specialist (e.g. oral surgeon, OFP). Any suspicious bump that does not resolve itself in 2-3 weeks should be evaluated.

Stop crying: I'm betting it's an infected hair.  Watch it and consider putting a warm compress in place. If it's not better in two weeks, get seen. If it's not really painful, it's almost certainly not herpes.

No: a single red bump with a white tip is generally a localized bacterial infection.  Use heat  ( a hot water bottle or something about 104 to 106 degrees F) and if it gets better, you should be fine. Herpes is called that because the sores look like little grapes in a bunch, generally not with a white tip.

Ingrown hair: You ask a good question and any painful lump or bump on the vagina warrants examination, however this is more likely an infected hair follicle/ingrown hair/folliculitis given that herpes tends to look like a small, clear, fluid filled blister with red patches. hope that helps. Keep the area clean and dry.
