May be a stroke: The "so high" blood pressure may have caused a stroke involving one of the speech centers in the brain. If this is new, recommend going to the hospital right away.  If it happened a while ago, it may go away, especially with speech and rehabilitative therapy.

If the slurring is due to a transient ischemic attack (tia), then this problem ought to clear with 24-48 hrs. In any case, a complete neurological workup is in order to determine origin of the slurring and direct treatment.

Unsure: Unsure what has been done.Basic blood work should have been done as well as syphillis test,Tuberculosis test..Also MRI head,carotid ultrasound ans echo of heart done.In addition referral to Neurologist.Does sound like stroke and a swallowing study should also be done to make sure not at right for aspiration.

but can be medication effect, after head trauma, tumor, etc---need urgent evaluation if acute.
