Drugs to gain weight: are dangerous if no medical condition indicates their use.  Better to eat higher protein such as eggs, dairy, etc.  Exercise will tone up your body and help muscle mass. : the 2 kilo weight gain is probably normal and is related to an increase in caloric intake and/or a decrease in physical activity. Malignancies rarely give weight gain, they usually are associated with weight loss. If you feel you haven’t change your habits, a visit to your PCP is in order as some non malignancies, such as thyroid disease can cause weight gain

how can i lose weight if i have hashimotos disease?

Diet/exercise, and..: Make sure your thyroid condition is treated/regulated.  At first, hashimoto may cause excess thyroid hormone release and you actually may lose wt. Eventually it :"burns" out and you can become hypothyroid (not enough) which can easily be treated with medication.
Once thyroid is properly regulated, healthy, balanced diet, along with aerobic/wt bearing exercise will help.

Yes: If you continue to consume gluten with a diagnosis of celiac disease, the gluten will damage the surface of the small intestine thus impairing your ability to absorb many nutrients leading to weight loss.  However you need to consult your doctor to document the diagnosis since there are other conditions which can cause unexplained weight loss.

Usually: When active crohn's disease leads to surgery, it's usually for intractable pain, stricture, obstruction, abscess, or fistula. Once the active disease is removed, the patient, at least for a time, feels better, can eat better, and is more active, thus causing weight gain. Many times the chronic medications can be stopped. However, 85% of patient will develop symptoms again.  Good luck.

Nutritionist: Visit with a nutritionist to make sure your celiac disease is under good control. There are plenty of healthy and bulking yet safe foods you can eat. If you are still not gaining weight, you need to see your GI doc for more testing to assure that he disease is being controlled by diet alone.
