i get "cough headaches." when i cough hard i get a pain in my head but it goes away after a short while. is this dangerous?

Not Dangerous But: Headache caused by coughing hard is not really dangerous.But having said that the cause of cough needs to be determined and there may be co existing Sinus congestion/infection which if there may need to be treated appropriately.i suggest you consult your doctor and get checked and treated

i have a cold i have been getting really bad headaches when i cough. its to the point where i cant do anything. what could be the source?

Sinus: Common for cold virus to cause sinus congestion and this can lead to a sinus infection.  Typically symptoms can be alleviated and resolved with decongestant and frequent nasal saline washes. If the problem persists and you develop a fever then an antibiotic can help. If necessary you could connect with one of the HealthTap physicians if that therapy would be indicated.

thick green and yellow mucus with red in it. it looks like i sneezed out part of my brain. 2x now. what can this be? i also have a headache when i cough. and a little bit of a sore throat. can this be from a tooth abbess i had. should i be worried ?

: If the discharge is from your nose (i.e. not coughed up from your chest), probably you have a sinus infection. Probably not related to your tooth abscess but can't tell without direct exam. See your doctor soon; you may need an antibiotic prescription. Good luck.

Most likely virus: These symptoms sound viral in nature. You can get cough, congestion and conjunctivitis from a virus. For the eyes best treatment is artificial tears for the irritation. Treat any fever.Drink lots of fluids. If you don't improve or significantly worsen check with your family doctor to make get throat culture to make sure its not bacterial.

? Hi blood pressure : Check your blood pressure first of all , and can start with your primary doctor if you would, however, headache isn't indicative of elevated bp,  other reasons can be at play as muscle tension, etc.. Best wishes

Is this a question?: There are a number of causes for forehead pain on lowering the head or raising the blood pressure, Sinusitis for one!  When you bend over you increase the blood pressure to the head as you do when you cough or sneeze, if that hurts I recommend going and getting checked. Don't rush to judge that you have a dire ailment.

Possibly: Pregnancy is always a possibility. Purchase and perform a home pregnancy test.  These usuallly turn positive when you're about a week late.  If it's negative, repeat in a week and call your doctor.

Several over-the-counter options include Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin, Aleve, Excedrin Migraine, and their generic brands. A bad or increasing headache, recurrent or weird headache, or one with other worrisome symptoms should be examined.
