SOUNDS LIKE: Chronic daily headaches, which often evolve in response to use of OTC meds such as tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen.  Need to breakup pattern via usage of preventative med such as topirimate or divalproex sodium, but OTC items such as magnesium, riboflavin, butterbur, or feverfew may work.  Botox a consideration.

Headaches: Instant headaches are a bit unusual for anything, however you could be very sensitive to the toxins in the alcohol.  You could also be getting dehydrated which can cause headaches.  Water is probably your best bet and good for you as well.  Hope this helps.

No: Some people are just sensitive to the diffusion effect or some can getr migraines from certain kinds of alcohol-for example I know someone whoo is allergic to hops and the clarifying  chemical of some white wines and will get migraines if he consumes them

Caffeine withdrawal : Coffee has caffeine and if you are a heavy coffee drinker headaches are a symptom of withdrawal. Drinking coffee will diminish headaches. Exceptin and other pain relievers also have caffeine because it helps with migraines and some other types of headaches. If headaches are persistent you may want to discuss this with your doctor

Check for OSA: Headache after sleep is a common question we ask when screening for sleep apnea. So talk to your doctor about that. Sometimes too much sleep can trigger migraines. This may be because there is a dramatic reduction of stress hormones with good sleep, which is good unless you are addicted to your own adrenalin. In that case you have withdrawal symptoms similar to caffeine withdrawal.

Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. It will destroy your brain cells, facilitate the development of cancer in many organs, including breast, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake. Quit while you are ahead.
