Since we don’t know if this is a 1st HA or a common phenomenon, if this does not clear in 24 hours, get a medical exam to,determine if YOUR HA is a serious one, and learn how,to,prevent or treat future ones.

Could be anything: Headaches could be due to simple viral infections or major brain tumours. It is difficult to say without more information and examination. 
It could be a tension headache, a viral infection, migraines, due to poor eyesight, meningitis or a haemorrhage. In short you need to see a Dr who will take a history and perform an examination, if needed you will be referred for a CT scan as well.

Headache: A persistent headache should be evaluated by a physician so that you can get appropriate diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime you could try Naproxen or exedrin migraine as directed on package. Take care!

See GP: You may have developed what's called analgesic withdrawal headaches.  A vicious cycle where the headaches recur as paracetamol wears off.  Need to be checked out for migraines etc.  present to Afterhours or emergency if headache is severe drowsy vomiting fevers

If the cause is minor and self-limiting then the cause might go away while you are treating the symptom.  If symptoms return or continue then you need to treat the cause.
