left side , back of head pain when laughing, bending over and coughing. what could cause this?

Tension headache: It seems that a muscle that runs from the back of your head to the neck on the left side is tight causing muscle tension headache, especially when you perform the activities you mentioned. Applying heat or at times ice might help. Stretching exercises to relieve tension will help along with medicines like ibuprofen or naproxen . Please go see a doctor if not better after doing this for a week.

i hit my head like three days ago and have some head pain especially when bending over, slight nausea and feel a bit lightheaded. is this a concussion?

See a doc today,: We don't know how hard you hit your head.  Regardless, since you are having symptoms you need to be examined.  A concussion can only be definitely diagnosed if no other brain injury can be seen on a CT or MRI.

Headache: With a normal ct scan and only with bending is likely due cervical strain.Analgesics and muscle relaxants may help symptoms.

?occipital neuralgia: You may have a trigger over right side of neck, but there may be irritation at base of skull affecting the greater occipital nerve of Arnold.  This should be self-limited and resolve over next few days to weeks, but if persistent, might consider occipital nerve block injection.

why do i get a headache and my head turn red after bending over?

Abdominal Pressure: Bending at the waist increases intra-abdominal pressure causing venous return to the heart to decrease. This backs up the blood being pumped from the heart to the periphery which for your upper body is your head. Increasing venous pressure causes increased pressure in the head which leads to that headache. That's also why your face turns red. Same thing  from a valsalva maneuver.

Could be sinuses: Sounds like a fluid accumulation in the sinuses of the face which can occur with or without headaches.

Neuralgia: Such fleeting, Sharp head pains are characteristic of neuralgia which is an irritability/slight inflammation of a superficial scalp nerve and not a brain symptom. Another possibility is an impingement of the nerve on certain motions. The pinching is usually at the neck level where the nerve enters the head. If symptoms persist or worsen see your physician or a neurologist for evaluation and advice

hi! its madeleine. i hit my head pretty hard against my office wall on weds 7 oct. i was bending down  and placing some books on the floor and as i came up that is when  i hit it. was taken by surprise, so jolted my head back. headache too?

Headache: You could have injured your head quite badly and could also have a whip lash kind if injury to your neck when your head jolted back. Enemy an injury to the spine could be possible, I would feel more comfortable if you had it the injury examined at your doctor or emergency room. It could even turn out to be a minor injury, but do check it out
