what are the risks of having a?moldy fish tank in the kitchen?

Poor fish: Minimal, except for lack of aesthetic value.  The likelihood of significant airborne mold exposure is low.

so a few months ago i would put water conditioner in my cups to fill my fish tank back up with water. i put them in the dishwasher and wash them before drinking out of them again. were they safe to drink out of?

: A simple water rinse under the faucet would have made them safe, and they're certainly safe after the dishwasher.

: Duplicate question, see previous reply. Of course you shouldn't intentionally swallow water conditioner, a small amount (even if the cup were not rinsed or washed at all) would not be harmful. It isn't highly toxic.

so i would use the cups i drink out of to fill up my fish tank. since the water had to be conditioned i used aqua safe water conditioner. i put the cups in the dishwasher and washed them. would they be safe to drink out of now that there washed?

: If the cup is china and has been through the dishwasher it should be just fine to drink from.  Plastic cups can leach out chemicals and I would be more circumspect about them.

See below: As long as the fish tank is well maintened it would be highly unlikely for mold to come from the tank.

Cut: Yes you should be concerned about the possibility of infection. If finger hurts, throbs and/or turns red seek help.

No chance: Brain eating amoeba don't live in your fish tank. The question makes me concerned, however, about you in other ways. Do you tend to fear contamination and disease a lot?  Is this kind of fear interfering with your life? If so, please see a specialist to get evaluated for obsessive compulsive disorder.

: Your symptoms almost certainly have nothing to do with the fish tank or toothbrush. You are right to be concerned about a cold or COVID, especially if you have not yet been vaccinated. Get tested for COVID as soon as possible. Good luck!

my 1 y/o does not like eggs. are they essential when growing up? should i keep trying or can i just give him meat/fish? thanks!

Eggs: Eggs are healthy and very good diet, but not absolute necessicity. Try other substitute as well. Let him eat when he likes.
