Damage ?: Most hand sanitizers are just ethanol. People drink it daily in a variety of amounts. If your sanitizer had something different in it any negative effect would depend on what it was. Since no content was listed in the post, little can be offered as a specific risk.

my cat pricked me on the top side of my back today. cat up to date w/ shots. doesn't seem to be broken skin or bleeding, just irritated. i tried washing it with soap and water with a scrub and then put hand sanitizer on it. hoping that was sufficient?

: If there's no itching an allergic reaction or contact dermatitis isn't likely but still possible. I would expect both hands to have an itchy rash with an allergic reaction. It could be a primary irritation eruption from harsh detergent and/or vigorous rubbing of that hand. You could try applying a mild corticosteroid ointment. See your physician or a dermatologist as needed.

my boyfriend fingered me with hand sanitizer on his hands and my labia and outer vagina burns, and there is a bump next to it. it got inside of my labia and it is basically glued together on one side?

: Wash all the sanitizer off and soak in warm, clear water (no soaps, bubbles, anything else in water). Do this 2-3 times a day for a couple of days to reduce irritation/inflammation of area. After urination, rinse area with clear water from squirter bottle and just PAT DRY with toilet tissue. If not back to normal in 3-4 days, see your OB/GYN. If increasing or unbearable pain, see doctor sooner.

a person hawk spit on the side of my face and it got on my ear (no cuts by the way) i had one of those small hand drying towels wiped my ear off but im not by any hand sanitizer or a sink to wash my hands am i at risk for hep b hsv or anything?
